Award-winning photographer Garin Horner on campus Friday
Garin Horner, an award-winning fine art photographer for more than a quarter-century, will present a lecture Friday in the Communications Building, Room 1116.
Horner’s lecture is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. He will present his current work, “A Photo-Ethnographic Study of Private Spiritual Shriners and Alters.” The work explores various personal monuments devoted to honor the imagined order and legacies of the natural and supernatural.
Horner is an associate professor of photography in the Department of Art and Design at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan.
