Media Advisory – SIU Air Force ROTC cadets will visit Marion Veterans Affairs residents today
Thirteen cadets in Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program will be visiting and having dinner with military veterans living at the Marion Veterans Affairs Community Living Center at 5 p.m. today, Feb. 4.
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the event. Cadets and veterans will be available for interviews. Contact Kevin Harris, public affairs officer, Marion VA Health Care System, at 618/997-8241 if you plan to attend.
Media should report to the lobby of the Community Living Center, which is located on the campus of the Marion VA Medical Center; 2401 West Main St., Marion, Illinois.
