Parking Division to drop citations in exchange for peanut butter

Want a parking fine dropped? The Department of Public Safety Parking Division is holding a one-day event on Nov. 9 to benefit the Saluki Food Pantry.

One citation, up to $35 person, may be eligible for dismissal with the donation of a minimum of TWO 16-oz. plastic jars (or equivalent) of peanut butter. The eligible ticket dismissal is for the parking citation only. Any late fees or collection fees must first be paid to accept the donation for citation dismissal.

Nov. 9 is the one day where this will be an option.

Only peanut butter is eligible for donation. There are no substitutions.

Donations will be accepted at the Parking Division’s main office, 1175 S. Washington St., or the satellite office in the Student Center.
