University is recognizing Campus Sustainability Month
Faculty and staff can participate in several activities during Campus Sustainability Month, an Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education initiative in October.
Among the opportunities are:
- Apply for the open staff position on the Sustainability Council.
- Register for the Green Office SLEUTHS program, which is now open. This is a chance for each office to go green.
- Learn more about incorporating sustainability into student learning experiences. The Sustainability Office is seeking faculty interested in integrating sustainability into current courses and research.
Faculty and staff who are interested in attending a sustainability curriculum workshop or would like to learn about other opportunities to integrate sustainability into curriculum and research, should email glkurtzhals@siu.edu.
