‘Art over Easy’ 2017 is Friday
CARBONDALE, Ill. – It’s lucky year 13 for Art Over Easy, the major fundraiser for Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s School of Art and Design.
Art Over Easy 13 is 7-9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 in the Surplus Gallery, the main gallery in The Glove Factory, 432 S. Washington Ave., Carbondale. Admission is $30 a person and includes beverages (including beer and wine), light refreshments and live music. Tickets are available at the door.
This year, serious art buyers – that is, anyone who intends to bid during the live auction – may attend a live auction preview beginning at 6 p.m. before the official gala begins. The live auction and the silent auction start at 7:15 p.m.
The fundraiser supports School of Art and Design scholarships, research and facilities.
