Energy Boost Scholars deadline is Dec. 1

The Advanced Coal and Energy Research Center is accepting applications for Energy Boost Scholars until Dec. 1. Faculty and staff should encourage students who are interested in research opportunities to participate.

The program’s purpose is to engage undergraduate students in faculty-mentored, hands-on research activities. Students explore their intended majors or areas of interest, develop relationships with faculty in their field, and gain valuable research and critical thinking skills.

The students will complete an energy-related research project in the spring 2018 semester. Upon completion, students receive a $500 stipend and a certificate of completion.

More information on the program, eligibility and application procedures is available here.
