SIU Chancellor to Deliver State of the University Address

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- New Southern Illinois University Carbondale Chancellor Carlo Montemagno will deliver the 2017 State of the University address at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26. The address will take place in Shryock Auditorium on campus.

Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the address. He will meet with reporters at 11 a.m. in the chancellor’s office in Anthony Hall following the address.

Montemagno, a professor of engineering and internationally recognized expert in nanotechnology and biomedical engineering, started as chancellor on Aug. 15, 2017.
