Chancellor candidate open forums start Tuesday

The first of four candidates for university chancellor will visit campus for interviews beginning today, April 10. Each candidate will hold an open forum. 

All of the public forums will be in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium. 

The date and times for each of the forums are: 

• Tuesday, April 11, 8:45 a.m. -- J.S. (Jeff) Elwell, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
• April 19, 8:45 a.m. – George W. Hynd, president of Oakland University in Michigan.
• April 25 – 8:45 a.m. – William Bradley Colwell, interim chancellor, SIU Carbondale.
• April 27 – 8:45 a.m. -- Carl A. Pinkert, vice president for research and economic development at the University of Alabama.
