Research symposium proposals due June 2

The 2017 ASA Multidisciplinary Research Symposium is set for Nov. 4 at the university’s Transportation Education Center.

The theme of this year’s symposium, hosted by the College of Applied Sciences and Arts, is “New Horizons in the Applied Sciences and Arts: Rethinking and Remaking Our World for the 21st Century.” This is the college’s fourth symposium.

The symposium is open to faculty and students from any discipline or university, and professional organizations. Proposals are due no later than June 2.

Organizers are seeking proposals for presentations, panels, student posters, and workshops that will provide opportunities for students, researchers and practitioners to discuss the influence and impact of the applied sciences and arts on our future.

Authors of accepted presentation proposals will have the option of submitting a full paper for review; top papers will be published in The Journal of Applied Sciences and Arts. More information is available here.
