Valentine’s Day craft sale set at Student Center
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Student Center Craft Shop is sponsoring a Valentine’s Day Craft Sale and Bazaar on Tuesday, Feb. 14, along with fun February craft workshops.
The craft sale is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Art Gallery on the first floor of the Student Center. A wide variety of arts and crafts items, including special gift options for your loved ones or yourself, will be available for purchase. The sale is free and open to the public.
Individuals and couples can participate in some “Make and Take” crafting experiences as well. “Paint Your Own Masterpiece” under the guidance of a professional during workshops set for 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday, Feb. 14. Attend one or both sessions. Anyone can also stop by the Craft Shop, located on the lower level of the Student Center, anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Valentine’s Day and enjoy impromptu craft time making cards, painting or creating wax hands. Participants in the workshops will incur nominal costs to cover the price of materials.
