New Student Programs seeking flash drive content

A content request form is available for departments and units on campus interested in submitting information for flash drives that incoming first-year and transfer students for 2017 New Student Orientation programs will receive. The deadline to complete the registration form is Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Each department will be limited to 15 megabytes of space on the flash drive and the content must be in either a PDF, Word, or JPG format.

New Student Programs will also provide students with information folders. If you would like your information to be included in the flash drive and the folder, please select the option for folder materials on the registration form. If you will not be providing electronic material for the flash drive but would like your paper materials included in the folder, please contact Gena Stack, assistant director, New Student Programs, at

Information will be organized in the following categories or folders.

  • Academic Advisement and Resources
  • Carbondale and Community Resources
  • Campus Technology
  • Financial Information
  • Health and Recreation
  • New Student Programs and Resources
  • Student Life
  • Sustainability
  • Transportation
  • Parking and Public Safety

Upon completing the form, departments and units will be contacted to provide content. The deadline to submit content is Jan. 23. If the space requirement is an issue, please contact New Student Programs and they will work to resolve the issue.
