Benefit Choice open enrollment deadline is Tuesday

The deadline for the State Employee’s Group Insurance Program Benefit Choice open enrollment is 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, for all benefit-eligible employees.

Employees choosing to participate in the Medical Care Assistance Plan (MCAP) or Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) must have completed forms submitted to Human Resources by May 31.  Please remember that you must re-enroll each year to participate in these plans.  The MCAP maximum contribution amount is $2,550, with a $500 maximum rollover for the fiscal year 2017 plan year.  Those who do not re-enroll will forfeit any amount eligible for rollover.  The MCAP and DCAP forms are on the Human Resources website or the Illinois Department of Central Management Services benefit choice website. 

You do not need to do anything if you do not wish to make any changes to your current plan.  Your benefit elections will remain the same.
