Office of Diversity and Equity sponsors training sessions
The Office of Diversity and Equity will be sponsoring three open-campus training sessions this month. All sessions are in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium.
Dates and topics are:
- Tuesday, April 26, 11 a.m.-noon -- Advanced sexual harassment policy training. The training will concentrate on definitions of sexual harassment along with details of campus policies and procedures.
- Wednesday, April 27, 8:30-9:30 a.m. -- Non-discrimination policy training. The training will focus on legalities of discrimination, including the definitions of discrimination, protected status, and the elements required to support discrimination claims.
- Thursday, April 28, 11 a.m.-noon -- Disability/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training. The focus is on the rights and responsibilities of the campus community in regards to the ADA.
