Homecoming, Family Weekend dates set
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The dates are set so you can mark your calendar now and plan to attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s 2016 Homecoming and Family Weekend.
Family Weekend is set for Sept. 16-18. The Saluki football team will take on the Murray State Racers on Sept. 17, with the game time to be determined. Numerous other special activities will take place that weekend as well. Details will be posted at www.familyweekend.siu.edu as plans are finalized.
Homecoming festivities are set for Oct. 16-22. The homecoming football game is at 2 p.m. on Oct. 22 against the Indiana State Sycamores. There will be happenings all week long, including a court election, comedy show and the homecoming parade.
