‘Sibs and Kids Day set for March 5
Faculty, staff and students may invite any child, sibling, niece, cousin or friend to campus next month to experience the excitement of life as a Saluki.
Sibs and Kids Day is set for March 5. The $10 registration fee will cover five family members. The fee includes entrance in the Saluki Women’s basketball game, Saluki baseball and softball games, crafts and bowling, admission to the Student Recreation Center, a “Dive-In” movie, and pizza party.
All activities, the schedule and registration forms and information can be found here. Medical releases are required, and a housing form must be filled out if the child is staying overnight. The deadline for online registration is 4:30 p.m., March 2.
Sibs and kids are able to stay overnight on campus with their SIU student at no additional cost, as long as the SIU student resides on campus. Children must be at least eight years old, and no more than two guests per on-campus student are allowed. The deadline for housing registration is Feb. 27.
