Media Advisory – Scholarship Golf Outing
SIU President Randy Dunn will host the annual Chancellor’s Scholarship Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Hickory Ridge Public Golf Center in Carbondale. Dunn, who has also been serving as the university’s acting chancellor, will speak at 8:50 a.m., and will introduce the Chancellor’s Scholars, and also thank the many supporters and donors. There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The four-year scholarships are the most prestigious awarded by the university. Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the golf outing.
