Open-campus training sessions planned
The Office of Diversity and Equity will be sponsoring three open-campus training sessions this week. All sessions are in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium.
Dates and topics are:
- Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10:30-11:30 a.m. -- Advanced sexual harassment policy training. The training will concentrate on definitions of sexual harassment along with details of campus policies and procedures.
- Wednesday, Sept. 16, 9-10 a.m. – Non-discrimination policy training. The training will focus on legalities of discrimination, including the definitions of discrimination, protected status, and the elements required to support discrimination claims.
- Thursday, Sept. 17, 3-4 p.m. -- Disability/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training. The focus is on the rights and responsibilities of the campus community in regards to the ADA.
