Student Job Fair registration available
Departments on campus interested in hiring student employees are encouraged to participate in the 2015 Saluki Student Employment Job Fair, Aug. 31.
Career Services, Financial Aid, New Student Programs, and the Student Center are hosting the free event to assist students obtain employment both on- and off-campus during the 2015-16 academic year. The job fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms.
The registration deadline is 4 p.m., Aug. 26. Registration information is available here.
Departments and potential employers will be given a space, including a table and chairs, and students will visit to gain information regarding job opportunities.
Benefits of the fair include:
- Assisting with retention efforts.
- Assist departments in educating students more about their office and build a strong applicant pool.
- Give students an opportunity to practice face-to-face networking.
- Educate students about on- and off-campus employment opportunities.
