Recreational Sports’ Golf Outing set for Aug. 7
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Recreational Sports and Services at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is sponsoring its annual Recreational Sports Alumni and Friends Golf Outing on Aug. 7.
The event begins with a noon luncheon at Hickory Ridge Golf Couse followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Team entry for the 18-hole, four-person scramble is $300. Individual entry is $75. The registration deadline is July 31.
All proceeds of the golf outing go toward professional development opportunities for the Student Recreation Center’s student employees. There will be prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin for men and women.
