Media Advisory – ‘Give Adults a Smile’
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the fifth annual “Give Adults a Smile Day,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, July 10, at the SIU Dental Hygiene Clinic. The clinic, at 1365 Douglas Drive, is west of the SIU Arena.
The event is for adults ages 20 and older who are uninsured, on a fixed income, or covered by Medicaid. Registered dental hygienists and area dentists, along with dental hygiene students from SIU Carbondale, will provide free dental care including examinations, x-rays, cleanings, and fluoride treatments.
