Compliance workshop is May 29

The Office of Diversity and Equity is sponsoring a workshop next week that will focus on university compliance regulations.

The workshop, “What You Need to Know About Compliance,” will feature information that involves several units across campus. The workshop is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 29, in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium.

The workshop is free. Registration by Tuesday, May 26 is preferred for continental breakfast considerations, but not required. Participants may register the morning of the conference. Registration information is available here.

The four sessions will feature university experts discussing topics that include Veteran Ally training; complying with American With Disabilities Act building guidelines; gender-based violence and Title IX guidelines, and the basics of search committees at SIU Carbondale.
