Discussion on leadership principles is Thursday
Shannon Barrett, an executive with Jabil, a $13 billion international electronics manufacturer, will discuss the guiding principles of leadership this week.
Barrett will discuss the principles he developed with the late William Bushelle, an SIU alumnus and U.S. Navy SEAL, during the presentation at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 30, in the College of Engineering alumni lounge.
The presentation will focus on principal actions needed to lead any group. Bushelle, who died in a car accident in February 2014, is a former student of Bruce DeRuntz, professor of technology and director of the College of Engineering’s Leadership Development Program.
