University to host pre-tryout cheer clinic
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Students interested in becoming a Saluki cheerleader will have the opportunity to hone their skills next month.
Southern Illinois University Carbondale is hosting a pre-tryout clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 28, at Davies Gymnasium. The clinic is open to any current high school and college students who are interested in becoming a Saluki cheerleader and will help prepare them for upcoming tryouts.
The registration fee is $65 and includes a T-shirt, snacks. The registration deadline is March 20. A medical release form is required for participants who are age 18 or younger.
