Faculty and Staff Excellence Award nominations due

There is still time to submit nominations for the annual Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards. The university-wide awards program is an opportunity to publicly honor service to the university, outstanding teaching, important scholarly and artistic contributions, and dedication to furthering SIU Carbondale’s mission.

The nomination deadline has been extended to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30. Award recipients will be announced in early May.

Members of the faculty and staff are recognized in these categories: University-Level Teaching Excellence Award; University-Level Scholar Excellence Award; University-Level Early Career Faculty Excellence Award; University-Level Staff Excellence Award, and Women of Distinction Award.
