Media Availability – Dan Long
Dan Long, executive director of the Illinois Council on Government Forecasting and Accountability, will be available for interviews with reporters, photographers and news crews at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 16. The availability will take place at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Paul Simon Public Policy Institute, 1231 Lincoln Drive, in the old U.S. Forestry Building. David Yepsen, institute director, will host.
Long is delivering a luncheon speech from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Saluki Athletics Stadium Club, located on the second-floor press box in Saluki Stadium.
The commission is a state agency focused on the state’s budgeting and finance issues. Long will be speaking about the state’s business climate.
