Secretary of State to offer services on campus

Faculty, staff and students will have the chance to utilize a number of services offered by Secretary of State Jesse White’s office. 

White’s office will offer certain driver and vehicle services on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Driver’s license, state identification renewal, license plate sticker purchases, organ and tissue donor registrations, vehicle title and registration and other services will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the south entrance to the Student Center Art Gallery. 

Secretary of State employees will renew, replace or correct driver’s licenses and identification cards. Motorists will also be able to buy vehicle renewal stickers for license plates, including SIU collegiate specialty plates, passenger vehicle, motorcycle and B-truck plates. Vehicle title registration and parking placards for persons with disabilities are also available.

Motorists wishing to renew their driver’s license may do so up to one year in advance of their license’s expiration date.  Payment by personal checks, cash, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards is accepted.
