New theater majors hit the stage in ‘New Faces’

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Department of Theater continues the tradition of welcoming new theater majors to the stage with “New Faces 2014” on Sept. 20. 

The department’s newest theater majors will perform monologues, scenes, songs and present stagecraft exhibits to this year’s informal theme: Pulitzer Prize-winning plays. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. in the C. H. Moe Theater in the Communications Building.  Admission is free and is open to the public. A reception will follow.
