EndNote Desktop available to faculty, students
Faculty and graduate students, including SIU School of Medicine faculty, students, and residents, have a new way to organize their research and keep track of citations: EndNote Desktop. Two EndNote Desktop workshops are set for Sept. 10 and Nov. 13 in Morris Library.
EndNote Desktop can be downloaded directly onto computers or tablets and used to save, share, and organize PDFs and citations and create in-text citations and bibliographies. All students, faculty, and staff will continue to have access to EndNote Online (previously called EndNote Web), but Desktop provides increased functionality and storage capabilities. Current online users can sync their accounts to a new desktop account so they will not lose their existing citation libraries. Jessica Zieman, social sciences librarian at Morris Library, created an EndNote Desktop user guide and will conduct the workshops this fall.
