Grant writing seminar is Oct. 3
A “Writing Winning Grants” seminar for faculty and administrative staff will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 3.
The seminar, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, will provide a comprehensive look at the practical and conceptual aspects important to writing grant proposals. Emphasis will be on topics including idea development, identifying the most appropriate granting agencies, how to write for reviewers, proven tips and strategies in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers and strategies designed to merit a fundable priority score.
The seminar is for employees who have had some exposure to writing grant applications, either through training, mentoring or personal experience.
