Association offers gift memberships to new grads
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Alumni Association will be offering one-year memberships as a gift to Southern Illinois University Carbondale students who are graduating on Saturday, May 10.
This unprecedented initiative was made possible through action by the Association’s National Board of Directors, who want every student to realize the benefits and connections that come with being a member.
SIU has more than 250,000 alumni worldwide in nearly every professional field imaginable, and membership in the Association provides graduates the opportunity to reach out to them.
Membership also carries with it hundreds of advantages -- from discounts on retail and travel services -- as well as access to Association chapter, club, and group events across the country.
Students may register with their Dawg Tag number at www.siualumni.com/newgrad by June 30 to redeem the membership gift.
