Annual ‘Teaching Mathematics’ Conference is Feb. 20
Registration is underway for the 29th annual Conference on Teaching Mathematics that will be held Feb. 20 in the Student Center. Claran Einfeldt, president and founder of CMath2, Inc., will present the keynote address, “A Math Cursed Life.”
The conference is for kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers to learn more about the Standards for Mathematical Practice that hold the key to teaching and preparing students for future Common Core assessments.
The registration deadline is Feb. 11 and early registration is suggested. The fee is $75 and includes conference materials, continental breakfast and lunch. Full-time pre-service students may register for a reduced price.
