Jarvis named associate editor for Journal of Service Research
Cheryl Burke Jarvis, chair and professor of marketing in the College of Business, recently accepted a position of associate editor with the Journal of Service Research.
As an associate editor Jarvis will consolidate reviews, make recommendations on how to handle review inconsistencies, highlight the important issues, and add any of her own suggestions. Even though Jarvis has more than a full schedule as department chair and as a professor, she said she believes it is important to serve as an associate editor. Jarvis has served on the editorial Boards for the Journal of Service Research and the Journal for the Academy of Marketing Science. She was named “Researcher of the Year” by the College of Business in 2012.
