Faculty and Staff Excellence Award nominations encouraged
Dear Colleagues:
Nominations for our annual Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards are now being accepted, and I encourage you to participate.
This university-wide awards program is a wonderful way to recognize colleagues who inspire us with their talent, passion and commitment. It is an opportunity to publicly honor outstanding teaching, important scholarly and artistic contributions, and dedication to furthering our mission.
We will recognize members of the faculty and staff in these categories: University-Level Teaching Excellence Award; University-Level Scholar Excellence Award; University-Level Early Career Faculty Excellence Award; University-Level Staff Excellence Award; and Women of Distinction Award. Details are available on the Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards website.
Nominations are due by Friday, January 17, 2014, and we will announce the recipients in early May. I hope you will help us honor the talented members of our faculty and staff.
