Sustainability research featured in panel discussion
A panel presentation and Q&A session on “From Illinois to Europe...and Back: Watershed Science and Sustainability Research by SIU Fellows,” is from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Nov. 6, in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium. A 5:30 p.m. reception precedes the event. Graduate students will present on their water science and policy research experience as IGERT fellows. Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) is the National Science Foundation's flagship interdisciplinary training program, educating U.S. Ph.D. scientists and engineers by building on the foundations of their disciplinary knowledge with interdisciplinary training. The event is sponsored by Morris Library, SIU IGERT: Watershed Science and Policy, Imagining Geographies, University College, College of Mass Communications and Media Arts, School of Journalism, Speech Communication 101, English 101, and the University Core Curriculum.
