“The Art of Reflection: Connecting Service Experiences to Academic Content Reflection” is a defining feature of service-learning courses and is the basis to connect service experiences to academic content. The workshop is designed primarily for faculty members, but staff or graduate students currently involved in service-learning courses or projects are welcome. The presenter, Patricia Saleeby, assistant professor in the School of Social Work, has extensive experience teaching service-learning courses. The workshop will take place on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. at the Old Main Restaurant (now closed but used for events) on the 2nd floor of the Student Center.
