Touch of Nature Environmental Center hosts ‘Haunted Hollow’
Touch of Nature Environmental Center’s annual “Haunted Hollow” is from 1 to 4 p.m., Nov. 3. The fun fall family festival is for all ages and offers a chance to spend time outdoors and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities. Activities include a a wagon hayride, nature interpretive hikes, a treasure hunt and more. For some the highlight will be the chance to see and handle live animals that are usually associated at Halloween as creepy crawlers. Activities are time specific but optional. It is recommended to come for the entire event. Advanced registration is recommended; adults are $7, children ages 6 to 13 are $5, and children 5 and under are free. After Nov. 1, the price is $11 for adults and $7 for children. Please call 453-1121 to register.
