Campus Sustainability Day is Wednesday, Oct. 23
Plans are underway for Campus Sustainability Day, Wednesday, Oct. 23. An information fair is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Art Gallery. Groups from campus and the community will have displays and be available to discuss their work. A guided walking “Green Tour,” pointing out Green Fund projects and other sustainability components on campus, will be offered twice; each tour lasts about an hour and departs from the Art Gallery at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. A Bioneers “mini series” of educational DVD presentations will be shown from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Other activities include a puppet theater performance at 11:30 a.m., and the Craft Shop will have Saluki Spokes bike repair at the Student Center north entrance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a solar oven cooking demonstration.
