SIU hosts retention expert
Today and tomorrow, SIU is hosting a visit from Teresa Farnum, a nationally recognized consultant who will help us identify opportunities to improve student retention. My thanks go to the students, faculty, deans, academic advisers, academic support staff, and members of the Student Engagement Task Force and the Retention Committee who have agreed to meet with Teresa. Your critically important input, combined with Teresa's review of related trend data, will help her shape recommendations that will inform the next steps we take to retain the great students we are attracting to SIU.
