Faculty fellows for service-learning applications available
The Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism is pleased to offer the Faculty Fellows for Service-Learning for a second year. This program is a semester-length fellowship designed for faculty to incorporate service-learning into their courses. It is open to faculty of all ranges of experience in service learning. For newcomers, the goal would be to design or adapt a course to include a service-learning component. For experienced faculty, goals might include expanding a current service-learning course, developing inter-disciplinary partnerships, or creating innovative assessment modules. The program’s goal is to expand and institutionalize service-learning at SIU. Applications are due Monday, Nov. 18. The announcement and application can be found at www.cslv.siu.edu/.
