Saluki Idea Competition Deadline
The deadline for entries to the 2013 Saluki Idea Competition is 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4. The competition offers students and student-led teams a chance to showcase their ideas for new products and services and the chance to win cash prizes and grant awards.
The competition seeks commercially viable, technology-based ideas that have a positive social or environmental impact.
All of the entries will be online and the public can vote via the Internet. Students will pitch ideas at the Technology and Innovation Expo on Oct. 25.
Information on submissions is at siu.launcht.com until 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. Public voting starts Monday, Oct. 7. A flier on the event is on Fliers Row at SIU Today. There is also a Saluki Idea Competition Facebook Page where students can look for other students who might want to get involved.
