Students named to spring semester Dean’s Lists

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale named 3,306 students to its spring semester Dean’s Lists.  These students make up 23 percent of the University's undergraduate student body.

Dean’s List recognition goes to students who compile grade-point averages that meet or exceed performance standards set by SIU Carbondale's schools and colleges.  The minimum standards vary by college and range from 3.25 to 3.75 on a scale of 4.0 (perfect).  The asterisk denotes straight 'A' grades for the semester.  The 1=freshman, 2=sophomore, 3=junior, 4=senior and 5=senior with degree working toward second bachelor’s degree.

This list contains names of students who record Carbondale as a home address.  It does not include those studying at military bases.
