Annual tie-dyed T-shirt event is April 24

by Tiana Russell

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- It’s spring at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and that means the return of the popular “Dye Hard Tie-Dye.”

Now in its fifth year, the free event will give all students the chance to create their own customized and unique tie-dye T-shirts on Wednesday, April 24.  The activity is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Free Forum Area, between the footbridge and Anthony Hall.

The Student Programming Council Visual Arts Committee sponsors the event.  Organizers will provide all of the materials to make a tie-dye T-shirt while supplies last.  Students are also welcome to bring their own T-shirts to color.
