Flags lowered to honor Boston bombing victims
Under a proclamation signed by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, the United States flag and the Illinois flag are to be at half-staff at all State of Illinois facilities in honor of the victims of the April 15 bombings in Boston, Mass.
Flags are to be flown at half-staff immediately until sunset, Sunday, April 20.
The attack occurred during the Boston Marathon. As of 1 p.m. Tuesday, two explosions killed three people and wounded more than 170, including 17 in critical condition.
