Student leadership board applications available
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The 2013 SIU Leadership Conference, a student-led Southern Illinois University Carbondale event, is seeking applicants for two open positions on its executive board.
The program, from the Student Involvement and Leadership Development unit of Student Life and Intercultural Relations, is seeking a fundraising coordinator and a coordinator of marketing and public relations. All full-time SIU Carbondale students are welcome to apply.
The board plans the annual SIU Leadership Conference, a student-led, student-run conference providing selected students with the opportunity to learn and practice leadership skills while networking and meeting new people. The conference will take place sometime in late September. Applications for programs/presenters will be accepted closer to the conference date.
