Saluki Track and Field Clinics are Jan. 5-6
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Intercollegiate Athletics and Continuing Education and Outreach are pairing up to offer the Saluki Track and Field Clinics on Jan. 5-6, 2013.
The three clinics are open to all junior high and high school male and female students who would like to improve their track and field skills or learn skills. Each athlete will receive a personalized technique evaluation. Coaches are welcome, too.
The focus of the Jan. 5 clinic is on jumps, sprints and hurdles. The clinic runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the registration fee is $75.
There will be two clinics on Jan. 6, both set for 1:30-5:30 p.m. Featured are the Pole Vault Clinic and the Throws Clinic. Registration for each of these concurrent sessions is $75.
