Hitting and Defense Camp set for softball players
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- If you want to improve your softball skills you will want to check out Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Saluki Softball Hitting and Defense Camp.
The Division of Continuing Education is offering the camp focusing on improving players’ hitting and defensive skills June 12-14. The camp is open to any and all players in grades three to eight. The camp, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to noon, takes place at Sports Blast at 1215 E. Walnut St. in Carbondale.
The camp will strongly emphasize hitting and defense. Players will receive personalized instruction at their defensive positions utilizing numerous drills. In addition, campers will get hitting and bunting instructions and do hitting station work.
