Teacher career fair cancelled
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A teacher career fair set for March 28 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is cancelled.
Career Services, the host of the event, organizes career fairs several times during each academic year as a service to SIU Carbondale students and alumni, and to employers. Members of the community are also invited to the career fairs, making them an important part of outreach for Career Services.
In addition to career fairs, Career Services is an ongoing resource for students looking to choose a career path early in their college careers, and for students ready to graduate and enter the professional work force.
Career Services provides job and career-related workshops, offers career counseling, major and career exploration, and assistance with internship and job searches.
