Saluki Health Web Portal available to students
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Taking good care of themselves just got a lot easier for students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Student Health Services has introduced the new Saluki Health Web Portal. Using their SIU Network IDs and passwords, students can now log onto a secure portal on the Student Health Services’ website at www.shc.siu.edu.
You can make, view, or cancel appointments any time of the day or night, sign up to receive text message reminders of appointments, or send a confidential message to the e-Nurse, pharmacy, Wellness Center of Sports Medicine Physical Therapy department. And, you can receive secure, confidential messages and test results. In addition, the portal allows you to complete required forms prior to appointments, update your address and telephone number, request a prescription refill or renewal, print a parking pass for your appointment and much more.
Through your siu.edu email address, you’ll get notification that you have a secure message in the portal.
At this time, the web portal does not include the Dental Service and the Counseling Center. Students still need to make appointments by calling those offices.
