‘Alumni 101’ series offers valuable tips to students
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A five-part series that begins later this month will give students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale a glimpse of what to expect after they graduate.
The SIU Alumni Association is offering “Alumni 101, “ which will tackle issues that include searching for a job; wise budgeting, management and investment suggestions; resume critiques and interview skills; and making post-graduation decisions.

The seminar will feature author and job search specialist Brad Karsh, president and founder of “Job Bound.” Karsh has also written two books, “Confessions of a Recruiting Director,” and “How to Say it on Your Resume.”
