Extreme couponing workshop set for Nov. 10
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- If you’ve ever seen the stories about people who leave the store with hundreds and hundreds of dollars in products they’ve paid little or nothing for and wondered how you can make that happen, here’s your chance to find out.
“Dart into Savings (extreme couponing)” is coming to Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The free workshop will be at the Student Center’s Mississippi Room and it is open to everyone affiliated with the University and community members, too.
Rachel Taylor, an experienced supersaver and graduate student in Workforce Education and Development, will lead the workshop. She’ll share tricks and techniques to help you get groceries, toiletries and much more for less, perhaps even free, by shopping sales and using coupons and rebates.
